If the Eden Roc Resort could be described in one word it would be resplendent. And like the area it was built in, the Eden Roc has become a well-recognized hotspot for visitors who know what kind of luxury they want and will travel the distance to find it.

Simply due to the fact that this resort sits in the coveted Miami Beach area guests are guaranteed access to the most popular eateries and the latest entertainment Florida has to offer. Miami is a place where the beautiful come to be seen and the affluent escape to recharge. It’s a way of life that the city holds dear and one that the Eden Roc is a part of every step of the way.

Miami Beach If you come to the vibrant city of Miami but spend less than a day in Miami Beach then you are are missing out on the gem on Florida’s east coast. The resort city between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean is a conglomeration of art-deco buildings and colorful nightlife that lights up Ocean Drive. Many come here for the sprawling sands and warm seas that provide endless hours of opportunity for every kind of tourist. From snorkeling to jet skiing there’s no question an entire vacation could be spent outside. However, there’s a lesser-known side of this city that veers away from the clubs and packed bars. Miami has an artistic side and it can be seen in the Art Deco District where galleries, museums and public sculptures are in abundance. Throughout the year, art fairs lure beachgoers away from the sand and down the streets to get lost in an international display of inspiring work. One of the most famous events is the Art Basel Miami Beach art fair, which showcases more than 250 galleries from 31 countries. It’s just a taste of the many possibilities that can be found when you take a closer look at this unforgettable place.

Tranquil Escape If there is one thing guests at the Eden Roc should know it’s that the resort is lacking in nothing in the way of creature comforts. Just the fact that four pools are located throughout the resort is enough to tip you off that this place wants to do things right. The 21-and-above club will enjoy the adults-only Ocean Terrace pool where a deluxe poolside lounger can be rented for $250 where you and five of your friends can soak in the summer sun then relax in the shade. Ocean-View Cabanas offer a more secluded setting with sofas, an ottoman, flat-screen TV and mini-refrigerator meaning you can lounge the day away with the sound of the sea as your lullaby. For an extra de-stressor head to the 22,000-square-foot spa with its garden views and indulgent treatments like the hydrotherapy circuit with cold plunges and hydro-experience showers.

Even the dining options have the same calming ambience throughout the hotel. Take the Nobu Restaurant and Bar for example. This is where soothing, earth-toned colors are blended with aesthetically-pleasing designs reminiscent of far away Asia. The pairing of this restaurant with the Eden Roc gives guests a front-row seat to not only the kind of serene atmosphere you’ll want after a day in the sun but the gastronomic experience to satisfy your palette no matter what you’re craving.

Nonstop Entertainment If you’re visiting Miami it’s safe to say you are going to be spending most of your time away from the hotel room whether that means lounging at the pool or getting VIP access at BED Nightclub. However, when you finally do come back to your hotel room you want an escape that brings luxuriousness and comfort right to you, and Eden Roc’s 631 rooms and suites do exactly that. For couples or the solo traveler that want an intimate space the 432-square-foot Deluxe Guest Room is the ideal go-to choice. Travelers desiring some of the best views should book an Intracoastal View Room, which can offer a birds-eye view of Biscayne Bay and the spectacular Miami Skyline from the upper floors of the resort’s Lapidus-designed Legendary Tower.

But it’s spending your nights in one of the 96 suites that make Eden Roc unforgettable. Many of the suites are situated so that you have panoramic views of not only downtown Miami Beach but the full expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. The Ocean View Suite has a 200 square feet wrap-around balcony for those who want more than just floor-to-ceiling windows. Both the Oceanfront Corner Suite and the Bi-Level Loft Suite up the ante with a living room area, separate dining and more than enough space. The latter has a private patio that leads out to the main pool in addition to direct access to the beach and gardens. It’s just one more reason to make the Eden Roc your home away from home, just without the stress and with all of the splendor.
