The Hotel Ritz, one of Europe’s most prestigious hotels, has emerged as the priciest accommodation option anywhere in Paris, according to a new survey.
The survey by Luxury-Hotels.com compared rates at every upscale hotel across Paris in order to produce the findings. Comparisons were based on the cost of the cheapest double room during June 2018 – the time of the year when hotels in Paris tend to charge their highest rates.
Visitors considering a stay at the Hotel Ritz, can expect to pay a minimum of €1,300 for the most affordable double room during June – the most expensive rate anywhere in the city. The second priciest Paris hotel is Hotel de Crillon, where guests will pay at least €1,265 euros to stay within its lavish walls, which date all the way back to 1758, and third is La Réserve Paris Hotel & Spa, where guests will pay anything from €1,258 euros for a double room.
The table below shows the 20 priciest hotels in Paris. The rates shown reflect the price for the most affordable available double room in each hotel during June 2018.
About the survey
The survey was conducted in May 2018 and considered all hotels with more than 10 rooms. For each hotel, the cheapest available rate for a double room during the month of June was recorded, based on prices given by leading hotel booking websites. Three-night stays were used as the source of comparison for the survey, excluding Sunday-Tuesday. More affordable rates may be available for stays of four nights or more.
